25 years with a camera, Martha Lewicka
"My name is Martha Lewicka and I am an editorial, music and portrait photographer from Oslo, Norway. I have been working with photography since 1997, first as a hobby, then as staff photographer, finally opening my own company in 2008. I grew up in Poland, where I received an advertising animation degree in 2004 and where I was previously working in advertising. I have a diverse photographic background, from abstract to photojournalism, and that diversity has become very prominent feature in my work. I continue to explore new fields of photography, as well as mastering new techniques".
The Poetic Vision of Spanish Sculptor Eduardo Chillida
Eduardo Chillida Juantegui (1924–2002) was a Spanish Basque sculptor notable for his monumental abstract works. He received the prestigious Wolf Prize in Sculpture in 1985. Before becoming a sculptor he had been the goalkeeper for Real Sociedad, San Sebastián's football team. Chillida's earliest sculptures concentrated on the human form (mostly torsos and busts); his later works tended to be more massive and more abstract, producing many monumental public works. Chillida himself tended to reject the label of "abstract", preferring instead to call himself a "realist sculptor". At their best his works, although massive and monumental, suggest movement and tension.
Hiro Yamagata
Hiro Yamagata creates artworks that are simultaneously high tech and elemental, theoretical and visceral, abstract and immersive. He explores the links between science and art, micro and macro phenomenon, and geography, ecology, technology and cultural memory. His most recent endeavor, planned for completion in 2009, will create 160 – 240 images of Buddhas on the site of the once enormous Bamiyan Buddhas, which were destroyed by the Taliban in Afghanistan. Over 140 laser systems installed 500m, 1km and 5km in distance from the Bamiyan hills will project multiple layers of original drawings in striking colors.
Andrija Ilic, Secrets of perfection
He was born in 1972 in Munich - Germany, raised up and educated in Serbia, where he also completed army service. Professionally involved in photography since 1995. He is finding his inspiration in documentary motives, social changes of his society and people. He is also covering historical moments that are influencing our future. Documenting destinies of common people in unusual moments. The world around us is constantly changing, so the actuality of our world today stays frozen in my frames, preserved for the future.

The Longmen Grottoes
The Longmen Grottoes, located near Luoyang, Henan Province, are a treasure house of ancient Buddhist cave art. The grottos were hewed and carved during the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534), when the rulers relocated their capital at Luoyang near the end of the 5th century. At that time Buddhism was spreading east into China and was venerated by the imperial court. The Buddhists adopted the practice of carving rock temples, dedicated to the Buddha. The construction of the Longmen Grottoes began in 493 during the reign of Emperor Xiaowen and continued through the successive six dynasties, including Tang and Song, for a span of over 400 years.
