Lexithimie is electronic/experimental project which uses mostly laptop, digital tape recoder for process his music. New album titled "Stroll into the Shade for a Moment" is available now thanks to Sentinent Recognition Archive. There are a few sentences related to material which Alexis would like to get you familiar with. "I began composing this album with the idea to define an area in shadow; I imagined this shaded place to be surrounded by light. Because my music has quite an architectural process, I need to be thinking about a peculiar space, moment, or land which inspires me.

Simulcara "There Is A Fountain Filled With Blood"
Nearly 45 minutes of dark droning soundscapes, where once in a while lighter ambient passages penetrate the darkness. "Giant plateaus are slowly moving, reverberating the air with deep subterranean drones, flowing and ebbing in slow waves taking you a little deeper all the time in this sonic experience... Inside a Void is Belgian dark ambient act Simulacra back with red drones from a fountain filled with blood... There is a Fountain Filled With Blood does sound deeper and wider which makes the atmosphere more intense, darker and oppressive. These graphic drones are slowly moving as they are heavy in weight under their monolithic structure.
New Rajna coming soon
With this new opus, "Offering", their 9th album and their first release for Equilibrium Music, Rajna continue their musical and cultural quest, crossing the Mediterranean and taking us over the Aegean islands, the Cyclades, Crete and Greece, towards Turkey, where Orient and Occident blend as one. Using a considerable selection of acoustic instruments, Rajna return to their roots, bringing back the more ethnic and organic melodies which highlight the beauty and intensity of ancient Mediterranean atmospheres.
The Fear Is Excruciating, But Therein Lies The Answer by Red Sparowes
There has never been as pronounced of a leap in style and scope as with Red Sparowes' latest offering. The Fear is Excruciating, But Therein Lies the Answer maintains their layered arrangements and swirling amplified crescendos, Americana noir soundscapes (punctuated by the extended pedal steel on “In Every Mind”), and gloriously triumphant melodies (“Giving Birth to Imagined Saviors”). Earlier records focused on the larger scope of the album, but the new album is song-centered, with the individual tracks harboring stronger independent identities.
A deeper look at Roel Funcken's "Vade" album
While the release of his first album gets closer, Roel Funcken (who is, we'll repeat it a few times again, one half of Funckarma) has prepared quite a few things to help everybody dive deeper into this dense, complex and lush debut full length. Besides the four tracks which you can listen to on the "Vade" page on this very site, a brand new site has been sent up over at roelfuncken.com, entirely dedicated to this album. Be sure to play with it and have a good look (and listen), as it contains many layers and additional information and sounds for those who are ready to hunt them.
Circus Joy "Laetitia" on Old Europa Cafe
Italian cult band in which play 2 former members of AIN SOPH as well as other well known musicians of the Roman underground. At the time of the last release by Circus Joy “Improvvisa Azione Paganini", noise was turned into pleasure and sex; in their new work, "Laetitia", there is no pleasure in noise without sorrow , and sorrow takes over... this CD is not only a sonic tribute to Pop-Art, as its cover clearly shows, or to the noise-psychedelic rock of Velvet Underground (one of the most influential bands for Circus Joy): it's a tribute to the recent and tragic departure of their friend and poet/singer, Letizia.
