Steel Hook Prostheses was concieved around 1999 by myself J. Stillings. My partner in our fledgling CD-R label Cyber Blast Records L. Kerr was soon recruited into the project. We self released a cd-r entitled "Apotemnophilia". This recording was really experimental in nature and was all over the place. Soon a solid sound started to take shape and we were well on are way to something really Unique and powerfull. Our future releases on various labels throughout the world started to evolve and progress into what it is today. I can best describe our sound as Heavy Electronics, a combination of power electronics, death industrial, dark ambient, and harsh noise.

First vinyl fullength from Mattias Gustafsson aka Altar Of Flies. Since the start in 2006, this prolific artist from Mjölby, Sweden, has done releases on Cipher, Husk, Hästen & Korset, Nil By Mouth and 905, just to name a few. Förruttnelsen is the first new release on RTB since the split LP with Sewer Election which was released early 2008. More organic and mostly recorded live to tape, Förruttnelsen shows a side of Altar Of Flies more reminiscent to the sounds of his live shows. This is more minimalistic in it's approach, weaving together tapeloops, field recordings, junk abuse and raw disciplined electronics creating an claustrophobic and bleak soundscape.

Jason Crumer never ceases to amaze me. Lots of people can do harsh noise well, but I can't think of too many (any?) that can make it sound so deliberate, personal, and soulshredding. This 7" is no exception, a personal hell sounds just about right. Metal drags, scrapes, bangs, and creaks - blowing microphones, speakers, and yr mind. the sample will give you a hint of what's in store, but those that step up to this thing will come to get the full understanding.

Three years after his first album andreas brinkert (bipol) has released his second album entitled 'fritter away'. Brinkert has once again demonstrated his skills of creating moods which range from apprehension and aggression to disarray. Musically bipol assimilates classic dark industrial by creating a multitude of hypnotic repetitive sequences, dark drones and mechanical noises that are highlighted with a large variety of complex beats. The twelve tracks include subliminal bits of sound that drift below the surface so that the listener is deeply captivated.
